Architecture

RIGEL develops architectural proposals around the use of a building, its site and its technical constraints. Architectural design is coordinated with structural and building services disciplines within the agreed scope.

Who the service is for

For owners, clients and developers planning a new building or reconstruction.

Scope of work

  • Define the brief, spatial requirements and baseline information.
  • Develop layouts, building form and façades.
  • Coordinate structural and building services design and prepare the agreed working drawings.
  • Prepare 3D images for design discussions when included in the package.

How we work

  1. Review the brief and site information.
  2. Discuss and agree the design proposal.
  3. Coordinate the disciplines and hand over the agreed documentation.

Frequently asked questions

What information is needed to start architectural design?

The location, intended use, existing drawings or surveys, and available site documents are useful starting points. The first discussion identifies any further information needed.

Does a 3D image replace working drawings?

A 3D image helps communicate and compare a proposal. Drawings, details and specifications needed for delivery are defined separately in the design brief.
